First, thank you so much for being here and considering me to capture this season of your life. Choosing a photographer is SO much more than just pretty photos. It's about finding someone you're comfortable with and someone who understands what's important to YOU.
Below you'll find everything you need to book a session with me, what it's like to work with me, my booking link along with my location and session guide so we can tailor your session perfectly to you.
The Wyld Fern Experience
My approach is relaxed, natural and gently guided. You don't need to know how to pose, have perfectly behaved kids, or worry about everything going according to plan. I'll help you feel comfortable in front of the camera while leaving room for the more genuine and unscripted moments.
Step One
Read through this guide, request a date via my booking link below, I'll confirm your date and send over the session of your details ($75 retainer and contract)
Step Two
We chat details, location ideas, outfits, mood boards and anything else that will make your session feel like you.
Step Three
Your session! This is where the magic happens. Read more about individual sessions below.
Step 4
Your memories, delivered. I aim to have sneak peeks sent to you within 24-48 hours! I carefully hand select and edit your images in my signature style. I aim to deliver your full gallery within 4-6 weeks, filled with all of the best moments from your session, so you don't have to choose your faves, I want you to have all your best images!
How the time of day can change the look of your session
Lighting plays a huge role in how your final images turn out. Midday tends to be harsh (which can totally be vibe, think editorial or high fashion). It can sometimes create harsh shadows and squinting (which is not fun for the kids).
Golden hour offers a softer, natural look. The light wraps around you, creating those dreamy tones you will often see throughout my work.
But.... Dinner time? Is it really worth it?

The magic is in the real moments.
The best photos often happen in between the planned moments. The laughs, deep breaths, happy tears, and all the little interactions you don't even realize are happening. My biggest advice? Be present with each other, love on each other, enjoy each other.
