Why I include engagement photos in your package
Your engagement session is where really we get to know one another before your wedding day. It gives you a chance to experience how I work, ask questions and settle into the kind of prompts and poses I use. This allows you to feel more comfortable, be present, relax and truly enjoy your wedding day.
My approach combines thoughtful direction with a documentary eye inspired by film photography. I use prompts that encourage natural movement and moments. I truly enjoy connecting with people and making them feel comfortable and confident.
To me - photography is more than just posing for photos, I don't chase perfection. I chase honest emotion, quiet moments and the essence of your real connection.

Yep, they sure are!
How are payments made?
Once your initial retainer is paid, the rest of your payment Isn't due until closer to your wedding date - you can choose to pay in Instalments or one lump sum.
What types of payment forms do you accept?
e-transfer is Preferred but i also accept credit card payments!

Do you offer a second photographer?
Absolutely!
A second photographer can be added to any collection and can be a great option.
Most weddings are beautifully covered by a single photographer. A second photographer can be added for an a additional fee and is a great option for larger weddings, multiple locations (especially helpful for further away getting ready locations) and capturing both partners reactions using the ceremony.
when will we receive our photos
My typical turn around time is 8 weeks.
You will receive sneak peeks of your day within 48 hours!
do you require a deposit?
Yes, 25% of your package choice
do you help with timelines?
Absolutely! I love a good timeline. I can help build a photography friendly schedule including first looks, family photos, travel time and all the good in-between moments so your day feels smooth and stress free.
I also love working with planners or day of coordinators!
What if we don't know how to pose?
Most of my couples tell me this. You don't need to know how to pose, that's my job. My approach is relaxed and guided, not stiff or overly posed. I'll give you simple direction and natural prompts so you're never left wondering what to do with your hands or where to look.
can you photoshop our photos?
Yes- but, thoughtfully and with care. All of your images are professionally edited In my signature style, and I'm always happy to retouch things that are distracting or temporary. That can include blemishes or minor distractions. If you have a particular concern, let me know ahead of your session, so I can account for it through posing, angles, and thoughtful editing.
You'll also have an opportunity to share any preferences regarding photoshop/touch ups in your questionnaire.
Do you require a travel fee for venues outside of the Okanagan + Shuswap
This is very dependant, on places within B.C. I typically will only require a travel fee on smallest package - but ask and I'd love to chat about this!
